KUALA LUMPUR - The country needs more women in senior management positions in the corporate sector, said Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin. He said the Government had already agreed for 30% of decision-making positions in the public sector to be given to women and, likewise, the private sector should also aim for a similar target. KUALA LUMPUR: Kerajaan akan mengkaji Akta Pekerja untuk menjamin kesamarataan had umur persaraan antara lelaki dan wanita dalam sektor awam serta swasta. Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, berkata ketika ini sektor awam menetapkan 58 tahun sebagai had umur persaraan kakitangan lelaki dan wanita dan mungkin meningkat kepada 60 tahun pada masa depan, berbanding 50 tahun untuk wanita dalam sesetengah sektor swasta.
